Born into stardom, Riham is the daughter of famous actor Ashraf Abdel Ghafour. Slowly but surely, Riham managed to gain independence from being the daughter of a star to being a star herself.

Embarking on her journey as an actress at a very young age, she showcased her genuine talent at every possible step of the way.

Her lucky totem for both theater and the small screen is none other than the acting guru Yahia El Fakharany, who she starred opposite in “King Lear” and “Zezenia”. Both her roles with El Fakharany were turning points in her career.

Riham’s fan-favorites include “El Academeya”, “Ga’alatny Mogriman”,
“Harim Karim”, “Mallaky Eskenderia”, “Sehr El Oyoun” and “Kan Youm Hobak”.

While her acting was admired on the big screen, it is the small screen that expanded her fan base notoriously. Her role in “La Totfe’a El Shams” – where she portrayed an uptight middle-aged woman with non-existing social skills, followed by her role in “Zay El Shams” where she played the infamous, bewitching Farida – moved her to the heavyweight league.

2023 has been a golden year for Riham Abdelghafour with having different hit series starting from “Room 207”, to “Azmet Montasaf El Amr” and to “ Rasheed” in Ramadan.
