Yasmina is an American/Egyptian/Swiss actor and singer. She started her professional acting career at the age of 9 and her singing career at the age of 12. She acts and sings in English, French and Arabic.

Yasmina has starred in many commercials, tourism campaigns, music videos, musicals and was a TV presenter for National Geographic Kids Abu Dhabi.

Her movie “The Shadow of Cairo” got nominated in 2018 for the Excellence Award in Smart Screen Creative Awards of MET Film School in London and was nominated for the Jury price for best short action film in 2019 of NYICFF (New York International Children’s Film Festival- Oscar qualifying festival).

Yasmina also caught the spotlight in 2022 through her series on Netflix “Finding Ola” staring with the super star Hend Sabry. Her latest work includes the feature film “Daughters of Abdel Rahman “and HBO Max series “Theodosia”.

In 2023 , Yasmina is currently in the midst of the release of different  projects. “Sukkar” movie The first pan Arab musical coming out of the Middle East with a young cast. “Katreina,” series, a mixed-language international series, a crime drama shot between Athens & Beirut from creator Adi Hasak.Starring James Franco, Yaccoub El-Farhan and a number of international cast.

Also Yasmina is taking part in two upcoming short movies,”إلى ريما “directed by Hossam Gamal مأخوذ عن رواية في قلبي إمرأة عبرية. And another short movie about Palestine to be released this summer.

Yasmina is passionate about social and humanitarian causes, she is the first “Safe ambassador”, Safe is a regional organization that works on psychosocial series in the field of protection against all type of violence and women empowerment in the region.
